The City of Casey has three Youth Information Centres including "The Seasonal Vibe" Mobile Youth Information Centre, a converted passenger bus.
Youth Information Centres offer young people aged 10 - 25 and their families activities, information, support and referral on a range of issues, concerns and needs. Centres are located at Hampton Park and Cranbourne. There is also a Mobile Youth Information Centre.

The City of Casey Youth Service have a particular interest in ensuring that our young people are provided with the information and skills necessary for them to make informed life choices and to fully participate in society at all levels.
Information
Whether it be for a school assignment, a friend or yourself, Youth Information Centres have a large range of information and services relevant to young people. Centres have information on, recreation, employment, health issues, drug/alcohol, housing, personal development programs, sexuality, family issues, legal issues and education options.
Support
At the Youth Information Centres, a youth worker is available to discuss any issues or concerns you have on a variety of topics. If the worker is unable to help you specifically, they will link you with someone who can.
Computers
Hampton Park and Cranbourne Youth Information Centres have computers with internet access for young people to utilise for job searching, resumes, projects or information.
Standards for Youth Information Centres
The information provided can have a bearing on crucial decisions in a young person's life, so it must be accurate, reliable and effectively communicated. Casey Youth Information Centres operate under a Code of Standards which set out the core principles and procedures for the operation and evaluation of the centres. The code is based on the standards developed by the National Youth Information Monitoring Committee Ireland.
Youth Support Program
Youth Support Workers, a free service that gives young people someone to talk to and assist them when things are difficult to manage, can see you by appointment at the Hampton Park or Cranbourne Youth Information Centre. Click here for more information on the Youth Support Program.
Generalist Counselling
The Youth Support Program offers 1:1 informal short term counselling for up to 5 sessions - This is a FREE service
Code of Ethical Practice
The City of Casey Youth Services commits to working ethically with young people and has adopted the YACVIC Code of Ethical Practice for the Youth Sector.
New Mobile Youth Information Centre
The City of Casey is updating its Mobile Youth Information Centre. In partnership with the Department of Planning and Community Development Casey Youth Services is building a new state-of-the-art Mobile Youth Information Centre(MYIC) The new MYIC will be a 42 foot purpose build bus fitted with PC's with internet access, audio visual equipment, play stations and a music centre. The bus will provide a youth outreach service an education platform and music centre. The building of the new MYIC is a complex project requiring a matrix switching system and a generator built into a low rider bus. The City of Casey hopes to launch the new MYIC during 2009.
The City of Casey will be holding a competition to name and design the external art work for the new bus.
